Made from highest quality, lacquered 15mm birch plywood. All edges are smooth and tapered ends allow the boards to be easily placed underneath the patient.
In many cases, but always subject to suitable assessment, patients can use the transfer board to move themselves.
When a carers help is required, using a transfer board can reduce risk to their back.
To increase patient confidence, the transfer boards can be used in combination with a patient handling sling or a support belt.
