The Patient Handblocks enable patients to move himself (or herself) in the bed by 'lengthening' their arms.
They increase the patient's feeling of self esteem and reduce the amount of Moving & Handling needed from the nurse or carer.
The Hand Block is well designed with a broad, comfortable hand grip and can be used singly or in pairs, or in conjunction with sliding and moving equipment.
They are helpful for any patient with upper body strength and especially paraplegics and lower limb amputees.
Extremely light but very strong and impact resistant.
